Zichis Hosts Designated Adviser on Tour of Ogun State Operations

Zichis Agro Allied Industries Plc recently hosted its Designated Adviser, Futureview Financial Services Limited, on a tour of the Company’s operational facilities in Ogun State, providing an opportunity to showcase progress across its expanding agribusiness operations.

The visit comes ahead of a proposed broader brokers’ community visit scheduled for September 2026, following a decision reached at the Company’s last stakeholders’ meeting to provide members of the brokers’ community and shareholders’ associations with greater first-hand insight into Zichis’ operations and ongoing developments.

During the visit, the Futureview delegation, accompanied by Zichis’ Executive Management, toured the Company’s oil palm plantation, poultry and livestock operations, feedmill, aquaculture facilities and palm oil processing operations.

Expanding Zichis’ Oil Palm Footprint

The tour commenced at Zichis’ palm plantation at Owojo/Ajebo Farm Settlement in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The plantation forms part of the Company’s recently acquired 2,000 acres earmarked for oil palm development as Zichis continues to deepen backward integration and strengthen its position across the oil palm value chain.

At Phase 1, covering 500 acres across Owojo, Asegunje and Akiode villages, approximately 200 acres have been cleared, with 12,000 oil palm seedlings in the nursery and intercropping with plantain suckers.

The delegation also inspected Phase 2, covering approximately 505 acres around Amusan/Erinle Village, where about 100 acres have been cleared with 6,000 oil palm seedlings in the nursery.

The Futureview team commended the progress recorded so far and the Company’s focus on project execution.

Scaling Poultry and Livestock Operations

The delegation subsequently visited Zichis’ livestock and feedmill operations at Imegun Village, Ijebu-Itele, Ogun State.

Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Zichis Agro Allied Industries Plc, Mrs. Anthonia Chinyere Akabusi, provided an overview of the Company’s expanding poultry operations.

Prior to its listing on the NGX Growth Board, Zichis operated approximately 20,000 layers across three pens for egg production. The operation has since expanded to four pens, with a fifth pen under construction as the Company works towards its projected layer capacity of 50,000 birds.

The delegation also inspected Zichis’ brooding operations, comprising two pens with an estimated capacity of 15,000 birds each. One of the pens currently houses more than 14,400 pullets approaching market readiness, supporting the Company’s point-of-cage bird sales.

Feedmill, Aquaculture and Palm Oil Operations

At the feedmill, Zichis’ Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Bankole Olalekan, briefed the delegation on the facility’s production processes and its role within the Company’s integrated poultry operations.

The 5-tonne-per-hour milling plant, currently operating at approximately 4 tonnes per hour, produces layer mash, grower and starter feeds. Under the current operating schedule, the facility records an average output of approximately 320 metric tonnes, with plans underway to increase production.

The delegation also toured Zichis’ aquaculture operations, where 21 of the Company’s 50 earthen ponds are currently stocked, with some batches approaching harvest.

The visit extended to the Company’s palm oil processing operations and its existing 61-acre fruiting oil palm estate, giving the delegation a broader view of Zichis’ integrated operations across the agricultural value chain.

Strengthening Visibility and Stakeholder Engagement

Following the assessment, representatives of Futureview Financial Services Limited acknowledged the progress recorded across the operations visited, particularly in egg production, point-of-cage bird sales and the ongoing development of the Company’s oil palm plantation.

The delegation also encouraged Zichis to continue strengthening the visibility of its products and operational activities through sustained corporate and public engagement, alongside deeper corporate social responsibility initiatives within its host communities.

These efforts, they noted, would provide investors and other stakeholders with greater visibility into the Company’s operations, growth initiatives and execution strategy.

Commenting on the visit, Mrs. Akabusi said:

“The visit provided an opportunity for our capital market stakeholders to see first-hand the progress being made across our operations. We remain focused on disciplined execution of our growth strategy, strengthening productive capacity across our business units and building an integrated agribusiness that delivers sustainable long-term value to our shareholders and other stakeholders.”

The assessment visit further reflects Zichis Agro Allied Industries Plc’s commitment to transparency and sustained engagement with shareholders, regulators, the investing public and other stakeholders as the Company continues to execute its growth strategy.

Since its listing on the NGX Growth Board in January 2026, Zichis has continued to pursue expansion across its integrated agribusiness operations spanning poultry, feed production, aquaculture, oil palm cultivation and agro-processing.
